About Jim
I received a B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1979 and a MBA with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Oregon in 1991. I am a licensed CPA in Idaho and have been in the public accounting field for 15 years. Due to my practice emphasis in QBs consulting, I became certified as a QBs Pro-Advisor in 2003.
Prior to starting my own practice in January of 2004, I worked for a variety of public accounting firms-local, national, and international. Basically, I have "seen it all." I have worked with literally hundreds of different businesses regarding their tax and accounting needs. I started my own accounting firm primarily because I saw a great unmet need in helping small businesses with their QBs accounting software.
